Earning College Credit while Homeschooling
Our family has utilized Advanced Placement (taught and administered by Mom), CLEP, and dual credit programs to earn college credit in high school for free or nearly-free. I will give information on:
- How to easily get set up as an Advanced Placement instructor with College Board, opening the door to all the free resources you need
- How to get CLEP curriculum, tests, and proctoring for free
- How to enroll in dual credit courses for free or nearly-free
- How to choose which classes to take to avoid wasting time on courses that don't transfer
- How to decide when your student is ready to start earning credit (yes, middle schoolers can often handle it)
- How to choose which option to start with
- Why you might choose to use ALL THREE credit-earning options, not just one
- How to include AP/CLEP/Dual Credit on a high school transcript
This seminar applies to any parents/students at the high school or middle school level.
